Error en MySQLError en MySQL

Se produjo el error número 1064 al intentar ejecutar esta consulta:

SELECT CPN_EDI FROM ED_NOTI_NOTI WHERE CPN_NOT= AND NUMERO=1527 AND fecha='2012-01-29' AND seccion='' ORDER BY IMPORTANTE DESC, CPN_EDI DESC

El mensaje de error es el siguiente:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND NUMERO=1527 AND fecha='2012-01-29' AND seccion='' ORDER BY IMPORTA' at line 2

Si la cosa persiste, el departamento informático estará encantado de intentar arreglarlo, a cualquier hora del día o de la noche.
